What makes Nicaragua beautiful to you?
One of my most precious memories of Nicaragua is of a little pool at the edge of the sea in Casares called “La Laguna Azul” (The Blue Lagoon) where my family use to go frequently to enjoy the beaches of Carazo. Nicaragua is very special to me. The memories of my homeland which fill me with pride and sadness. Pride due to its gorgeous biodiversity, the beauty of its culture and the warmth of its people. Sadness because I no longer live there. This is precisely why I started NicaraguaLinda.com with the collaboration of my father. It is the land of my ancestors, grandparents, parents, kin and friends from Nicaragua with whom I share so many unforgettable and wonderful memories.
One of my wishes for NicaraguaLinda.com is that you Nicaraguans and you who have traveled to this beautiful land, share with the rest of the world your stories, anecdotes and romantic love affairs from Nicaragua. My hope is that in this manner, even though I am so far away from my homeland, I can keep a little piece of our beautiful Nicaragua.
